Not pleasant experience...definitely not going back. I made reservations for a family celebration (8 people) for Sunday afternoon. Hostess wasn't very polite on the phone but okay...I went with it. We arrived, placed our orders, and waited...and waited...and waited -- from order to receiving appetizers was probably about 45 minutes and about another 45 minutes for entrees. Finally, one of us very politely asked the hostess about the delay and she blamed us for making a reservation between lunch and dinner. Wow. Shouldn't that have been something that is mentioned when you call to make a reservation? In fact, she went so far as to say that they were technically closed between meals even though their website clearly shows they are open on Sundays from noon through 11pm. The whole time we were there, the hostess, who was also our server, acted rudely and was very terse. Needless to say, it wasn't a pleasant experience and considering that extremely high cost -- $40-50 per steak without sides -- we will be taking our business somewhere else.

Pretty good food. Overpriced. Plus: Amazing steak sandwich, but fries were soggy. Tuna Tartare was good. Minus: "Warm" pecan pie was room temperature and billed at $12, not the $10 listed on menu. They kept rushing to clear our appetizer plates before we were done. I'd rather wait between courses than rush from one course to the next. Also, I hate when the server doesn't know who ordered what, makes you feel like you're at a diner when they bring the food out. With so many options out there, I would spend my money elsewhere or maybe order the steak sandwich to go!

we have been to this place three times in 4 years and each time we go the food is ok, but the customer service isn't so great! too expensive for bad customer service. waiters don't watch what they say and sometimes they talk behind you pointing figures and thinking that we aren't paying any mind!

Great food, decent service, loud and cramped during rush hour.

We decided to go out with friends on Christmas Day for dinner. We know that kosher restaurants are packed and made reservations several days in advance. We arrived on time and were seated immediately but moments later we were told a mistake was made and that was not our table. We were asked to wait by the bar and then were escorted to the rear of the restaurant. We were almost seated but then we were escorted back to the front and seated next to the front door. It was frigid, crowded, and noisy. Another table opened up within seconds but we couldn't move to that table as another group of importance were seated there. We were offered tea or coffee on the house to start. Thankfully we were with good friends so we were able to enjoy our time together, but we would have been more satisfied sitting in a Dunkin Donuts or a pizza place. The food was fair, my steak came out blue instead of medium, and then came back well done. I watched as my fellow tablemates enjoyed their entrées and then they did the same as I ate mine. Best advice: STAY AWAY!

I went here with a friend even after hearing from people that the service is poor but the food is good. We got to the restaurant at 6pm on a weekday and were one of two tables occupied. Even with nobody there, the waiter forgot about the wine we ordered. Not the biggest deal in the world. The decor is very nice and the place is large. The food was okay, but for the price it should have been much better. I will share a moment that ought to disgust anyone reading this. At one point during our meal, I watched the manager walk over to two people sitting a few tables away and have a conversation with them. While talking, with her back to the table next to the seated diners, I watched the manager of this expensive restaurant sit on the table while she spoke. Yes, she sat on the table. A short while later there were actually people seated at that table eating their meal. Gross. When our meal was over, the waiter proceeded to pile up all of the plates on top of mine directly in front of me on the table. I came very close to wearing the contents of the oil dish when it started falling off of the mound the waiter had created. This is a severe breakdown in the training process. Again, for the price, this place needs to be a lot better. Still, it got pretty crowded as the evening went on. I believe this place has the potential to be great as soon as the owner/manager start caring about and valuing their customers. I find it sad that we put up with places like this due to lack of competition and alternatives.

Horrible food. I wanted to stop at 7-11 and get a hot dog on the way home. Decor is good and staff was competent. The food was one of the worst I ever had in an expensive restaurant.

Service: Not terribly attentive, even with the restaurant only half-full. The hostess ended up taking our drink and food orders, but a waiter brought out the food and checked on us during the meal. Food: They've clearly learned from an older Yelp review and added herbs to the olive oil, but the bread isn't very good. Salad was adequate. Main course and sides (steak au poivre with frites and spinach, lamb shank with mashed potatoes) were excellent! We did not order dessert, but only because there was more than enough food between the salad and entrees. Value: The food is pricey, but kosher food usually is. A little less expensive than Keens/Rothman's/Peter Luger, and a step below them, but much, much closer to the South Shore. Would definitely come back.

A totally new idea to the Kosher of central. A classy steak house The place is attractive stepping in it looks like a steak house wood beams, white table cloths, and charm from days gone by. Almost empty when we arrived at 5 it quickly picked up and here lies the problem. Slow service Menu with lots of steak choices , burgers as well as a few fish choices. Very tasty fresh baked bread served with olive oil poured by our waiter) wish he had come and offered us more) Kids menu too We ordered a fillet , burgers and teriyaki salmon plus a side of creamed spinach was ok. ($9 for the little side) Plus a kids chicken fingers Food was very nicely presented on big plates with generous portion of fries One burger was way too rare though it was ordered medium And the steak for which this establishment is promoting was not worth it's $32.00 price Typical prices for an upscale eatery They just opened so we will be back for another try Nice check in offer of a free glass of wine lovely choices thank you.

We have been to this Restaurant before and the food is over-priced, but good. We made reservations for thanksgiving and we were looking forward to a good meal. We ordered appetizers and some wine to start. The waiter, delivered the red wine to the table without incident and dropped the whole glass of white down my wife's back and broke a glass. After dropping the wine, the waiter ran away and almost tried to make believe it did not happen. My wife was soaking wet and no one initially came over to apologize. My wife was embarrassed and other patrons and waiters were laughing. Thankfully, we live a short distance away and my wife was able to go home and change. When she left, the hostess came over to apologize and asked if there is anything she could do. She hinted that management was very sorry and that there would be an adjustment to our bill. I said that I did not want to discuss it, but to make certain that the food did not come out and stayed hot until my wife returned. She said of course and don't worry. A minute later our steaks and other food came out but my wife had not returned. They start putting it on the table and I explained that the hostess promised to hold the food and keep it hot. So, they took the food away. About 5 minutes later, my wife returned. The waiter must have seen her because they immediately brought out our now lukewarm steaks. Faced with the prospect of sending the food back and having to worry about what might happen to my plate on the way to or from the Kitchen, we elected to eat the lukewarm food. My daughter was the only one who ordered dessert. When the dessert came, the waiter says that because of what happened the dessert is on the house. "Really?" I said. I explained that I am not asking for any favors and that it is up to them to do the right thing, but I had a cold meal and I have to dry clean two coats now because he spilled wine and they think a free dessert is going to make me feel better. A moment later, he returned to tell me that the wine (2 glasses) was on the house. I replied: "I am not asking, but if that is what you think resolves this issue, then I will not say another word. We paid and left (yes we left a tip - why we left one, I am not certain). . Not once did the manager approach us and apologize. The waiter ran away when he spilled the wine and tried to ignore it and blame it on the busboy. I realize this is a personal experience but they are in the personal/customer service business.

It was my sisters birthday and we went here since it was a new restaurant in town. The inside is very elegant and everything you would expect from a fine dining establishment. White table clothes, fancy napkin folds, and displays of wine bottles. Me and my family sat down and they handed us menus and filled up our glasses with water. This was where we ran into the first problem. The water had a horrible odor and taste. I know it was tap water but I have never had tap water that bad. They also gave us a basket of warm bread and olive oil for dipping. I feel as though they should have added some cracked black pepper, garlic, and herbs to the bland oil. I looked over the menu and their meat selection was not very big considering it was a steak house. They had a chose of I think about 3 steaks and only one burger. I understand this is a fancy upscale place but $16 dollars for a kids meal that comes with a handful of fries and some chicken tenders is just crazy. We sat there for about 15 minutes before the waiter came to take our order (Although my father seems to think that it was closer to 30 minutes that we waited). I opted for the bistro burger which was $19. Before I get into how the burger was I have to talk about the service. While our waiter was talking to other table I noticed the check holder was stuffed down his backside into his pants. I find it revolting when waiters do this. It is highly unsanitary. I do not want a check holder that has been near the waiters butt now infested with who knows what. We were very neglected throughout our whole dining experience by our waiter. The service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was less than half full. Okay back to the burger. I ordered it medium which means it should be a little pink in the center when I cut my burger in half it was raw and I don't mean just a little raw the cow was still mooing. Steak I like to eat rare and still a little cold in the center but hamburgers I do not like raw. On top of how raw the burger was it was also very lack luster in flavor. If they would have just thrown some salt and pepper on it maybe it would have been better. The burger came with shredded lettuce , red onion, a tomato, and a side of fries. While it was a big heaping pile of somewhat tasty fries many of them were soggy. I tried a piece of my sisters "sirloin" thinking okay this should be good since this is a steak house. I was mistaken. The meat was very under seasoned and I was chewing this one small piece for about 45 seconds before I could finally swallow it. Tender? I think not. After we were all done with our meal the waiter quickly came over dropped some dessert menus on the table and disappeared for another 15 minutes. He never even asked if we wanted desserts. (which we didn't) Finally we flagged him down , paid the bill, and left. This was the worst service I think I have ever received in a restaurant and that is a strong statement. I am sorry Prime Bistro but your service failed me and so did your food.

Food was pretty solid. Service was very good. True that it's a little pricey. One of the better steaks i've had. Went on a Wednesday night, and it was about 75% full. Our food came within 15 minutes. No complaints here

THIS PLACE WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO STAY OPEN IF HAD TO COMPETE WITH REAL STEAKHOUSES! Everything about my experience at this place was horrific. After making a reservation well in advance we were showed to a strewn together table right by the registers and place were they dump the dirty dishes. It took them 15 minutes to fill our glasses with water and if only we had known it would be the only time we would have been more frugal with how much we drank. We then ordered drinks in which the "waiter' only remembered four out of six and we didn't see the other drinks until after we asked again when the main dish arrived. It took us flagging down the waiter after 45 minutes for them to take our food order and another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. When the food did arrive it was cold and disgusting. When complaining to the man who claimed to be the owner about the state of the food he lectured us on how he comes from a long line of butchers and we were wrong. All and all, the meal took three hours and was continuously surprising us with new levels rude service and horrible food.

Decent Mexican restaurant - expensive guacamole.... Teacup came with lipstick on it, at least it was a nice color.

Absolutely phenomenal food! Instead of braving the NYC traffic and crowds, you can have a NY steak right here in the Five Towns. The staff was very courteous, the food was exceptional, and the ambiance was very nice as well. I highly recommend this for both dates and other events alike.

My company held our work holiday dinner here and it was a mess from the start. Tables were cramped and we all had to sit mushed together like sardines. I love my coworkers but this was just ridiculous. Also, 90% of our office is comprised of Orthodox Jews and this is a kosher place- couldn't you have had the foresight to seat us a little bit apart for personal and religious reasons? Fack. Service was touch and go- our hostess was wonderful and she told us her recommendations but one of the waiters was severely rude to our table and kept asking one of our guests if they were done with their food while said person was still obviously eating. Dude, what is your problem?! The steaks were delicious though but I don't recommend any of the desserts they had on the menu. I doubt we will be coming back or even ordering lunch here again- too bad too, it looks like a popular place.

Went here for a wedding. Staff was very accommodating. Food was good, party menu had stated Prime Rib, but it was actually a steak. It should have had a vegetable, and an option of mashed potato, fries, or onion straws. Salmon was good, less teriyaki glaze. Dessert was ok, Molten lava cake, where was the lava. Bread was hard. Also there were at least 3 flies, flying around. Bathrooms were NOT handicap accessible. Overall it was ok. Will not be coming back for quite sometime.

The place looks great inside and the staff are nice but value for dollar is horrible. Be very careful about ordering any of the specials, they do not tell you the price and everything that I had as a special was double the price of the equivalent on the menu. The quality of the meals did not come close to meeting the price. Won't be coming back to this place again.
